FUN FACTS

Kai is the first performer with roots in the Federated States of Micronesia to perform on Broadway. 

 

He is a 13-year-old artist who has been performing professionally since the age of 8. He discovered his love of the stage in the title role of "Oliver!" at the Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire, Illinois.

He has sung in operas in 3 languages (French, Italian, and English) and in 3 cities (New York, Los Angeles, and Santa Fe).

Kai traveled to 22 states and 3 countries with the national tour of "Charlie & the Chocolate Factory," playing one of his all-time favorite roles, Charlie Bucket.

He has been blessed with the opportunity to originate two roles in new works (Richie in "The Hours" and Ernie in "The Secret of My Success").

 

Kai loves digital art and enjoys creating custom designs for the amazing people he works with. Part Mexican American, he speaks fluent Spanish, and his favorite subject in school is writing.

 

Kai recently played the lead role of Lubicchi in the development workshop of "Poupelle of Chimney Town," a new musical based on a Japanese children's book by Akihiro Nishino.
